Personal life

Born as Samuel Adams Wisner on August 14, 1987 in Cambridge, Massachusetts to Kata Hull and Chuck Wisner. His parents moved him to Wayland, Massachusetts when he was in high school. Adams played soccer in high school; he went on to attend Hobart and William Smith Colleges for two years, where he played for the Statesmen soccer team. He then transferred to Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut where he majored in political science.[2] There he was placed on the All-NESCAC soccer team in 2008. Wisner played soccer for Trinity College and was named captain during his senior year.[3]

Music

Adams started recording songs on his Macbook in 2008 from his college dormitory room. Over the course of the next two years, he recorded a large amount of material that would be used on his later releases. In early 2010, he emerged into the music industry with his release of "I Hate College (Remix)", a remix of Asher Roth's I Love College, on YouTube. He was able to sell his EP, Boston's Boy, released on March 4, 2010 by 1st Round Records. The EP managed to reach #73 on The Billboard 200. Boston's Boy also debuted at number one on the iTunes hip-hop chart in its first week, and the song "Driving Me Crazy" hit #8 on iTunes hip-hop singles chart.

In the end of June 2010, Adams finished his first mixtape, Party Records Mixtape in London, which was released on September 23, 2010. It was produced by DJ Whoo Kid and DJ Cash and sampled beats from Deadmau5 (Some Chordz) and Yolanda Be Cool (No Speak Americano), as well as others.

In August 2011, Adams performed at Lollapalooza in Chicago.

In November 2011, Adams released the first single, titled "Blow Up"[4], from his forthcoming album. The song was also made available as a free download from his website[5].
